Fall Fashion – But Make it Tween Style

Our first Fall in the Midwest is finally upon us! If you missed it, my family moved back to my hometown of Chicago four months ago. My kids are finally getting the hang of the big city living. We’re changing up our wardrobes a little earlier than we would have in Georgia, because of course the weather changes more rapidly here. This is also my first Fall season with a Tween daughter! Miss Menaal has developed her own style and it’s no longer about what mommy is picking out for her, and all about the styles that she likes for herself. 

This Fall I gave her free reign over her wardrobe! We sat down together to shop at Target online and looked at their More Than Magic by Target and Art Class by Target lines. They both have stylish clothing that Menaal loves at an affordable price. She loves lots of sparkle and shine, so the first thing she wanted to grab was this cute More Than Magic by Target Jacket. It speaks to her personal tastes and her wardrobe. She also loves to accessorize her hijab with cute  headbands. The More Than Magic line has lots of matching accessories like bracelets, necklaces, earrings and hair accessories. We love the colors and fun looks More Than Magic by Target  has to offer. 

When she’s ready to switch up her look, we grabbed some styles from Art Class by Target. This Fall’s looks gives us a lot of vintage vibes and reminds me a lot of the 90’s when I was growing up. Her absolute favorite pair of jeans are these comfy Art Class by Target Girlfriend Jeans. She likes to wear them rolled up and with her shirt tucked in. My girl has her own ideas, and I love letting her express herself in her clothing. 

I love a great value, and I grab these brands from Target time after time because they last long and still look good after they’ve been worn in and well loved. 

I was trying to hold on to the younger years, but I’m embracing this tween stage right along with Miss Menaal. It’s definitely a fun time because I see so much of myself in her. I enjoy watching her grow and observing her preferences. She’s got this tween fashion thing down, and Target is making shopping so easy!
