5 Ways to Treat PMS Naturally
Every month, for most of us, it happens like clockwork. We get grumpy, tired, anxious, annoyed, and want chocolate. Lot’s of chocolate. So I decided to share 5 Ways to Treat PMS Naturally! These tips can at least help to lessen your symptoms and aid you in maintaining the same momentum you have all month long.
- Exercise – Yes! I’m talking to myself as I give this advice to you ladies! But exercise is one of the best ways to treat PMS naturally. Exercise helps your body to release endorphins, and endorphins make you feel good! Exercise at the onset of PMS can help alleviate pain, anxiety, and tension. Get moving!
- Diet – Even though you want those brownies, or salty chips don’t eat them! They are only going to provide temporary gratification and do nothing to make you feel better in the long run. Eating fruits and veggies instead when you have cravings will provide your body with the vitamins it really needs. Consuming healthy foods will also help to reduce bloating.
- Sleep – I know we are all so busy it’s hard to get extra sleep. But the fatigue you are feeling during PMS is your body telling you, you need more rest. Try to go to bed earlier, or get a full 8 hours of sleep to wake up feeling refreshed.
- Supplements – Regular intake of vitamins can help treat PMS naturally. Calcium, Magnesium, and vitamin B6 are all great for stabilizing your mood and fighting off anxiety and depression.
- Reduce Stress – Relaxing is one of my favorite ways to treat PMS naturally. Read a good book, take a few moments of “me time”, go for a walk in the park to reflect, meditate, pray, etc. All of the things that make you feel good from the inside out, do them!
Hopefully my 5 Ways to Treat PMS Naturally will help you to alleviate some of the symptoms almost 80% of women experience every month.
Do you suffer from PMS? Have any tips to add to this list?

March 26, 2014 at 8:44 amThis comes right on time for me 😉 lol! I’m horrible at giving into cravings though. I usually get these God awful cravings and I usually give into them or I’ll get angry :-/. I guess working out will help the anger. Haha!
