I received complimentary tickets to Georgia Aquarium to facilitate this review, but all opinions expressed here are my own.
Our Visit to Georgia Aquarium
Recently my family headed to visit Georgia Aquarium for some Spring learning & fun. Georgia Aquarium is one of our favorite places to visit in Atlanta. My family loves all of the exhibits, galleries, shows, and hands on fun. The kids aren’t even aware that they are learning something new every step of the way.
When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised because there are so many new things to see. Quickly we were drawn to the new exhibit “Sea Monsters Revealed: Aquatic Bodies.”
This exhibit gave us a chance to look at the worlds largest sea creatures like never before. They have all been preserved through plastination, magnifying each detail of these amazing animals. You can actually see the animals inside out.
There are plenty of hands on and interactive activities along the way throughout the exhibit. My boys were mesmerized with actually being able to see the insides of some of the largest sea animals in the ocean.
Another of our favorite galleries to visit in the Aquarium is the Southwest Tropical Diver. It makes you feel like you are inside a beautiful tropical coral reef. It’s really an amazing sight to see, especially when a diver jumps in the tank!
The boys love the various touch pools in the SunTrust Georgia Explorer Gallery. Not Mommy though, I’m way too squeamish!
There is so much to see and do at Georgia Aquarium!
Other can’t miss Galleries, Exhibits. & Programs include:
at&t Dolphin Tales
Cold Water Quest
Ocean Voyager
River Scout
Behind the Scenes Tours
4D Theater
You can easily plan your visit to Georgia Aquarium right from home and have everything mapped out before you get there. To learn more visit GeorgiaAquarium.org. You can even print out some fun coloring pages for the kids. Just head to the kids corner on the Georgia Aquarium website!
Has your family ever visited Georgia Aquarium? Do you plan to in the future? What’s your favorite exhibit?

April 18, 2014 at 11:20 amI love going to the Georgia Aquarium! My daughters were scared to touch the sting rays. I’m a bit bummed that they don’t have the shrimps anymore.
