Twenty Ideas for Planning Your Next Sunday Fun Day
Sunday is probably my families favorite day of the week. It’s the one day weekly that we come together and plan something fun that everyone can enjoy. We usually do something new, be it adventurous, learning something together, or even just getting our hands dirty, it’s always going to be exciting for the entire family. Via social media I always share what we’ve done for our Sunday Fun Day, but I wanted to give you guys some ideas that you can try on your own for your family. Fall will be here in a short few weeks, so these ideas are a great way for you to explore your surroundings with the more comfortable temperatures.
1. Plan a Family Hike
2. Explore Your City Like a Tourist
3. Take an Art Class Together
4. Take a Family Cooking Class
5. Have a Picnic
6. Go Fishing
7. Fly Kites
8. Visit Your Local Playground
9. Visit local museums/zoo’s
10. Visit an Apple Orchard/Corn Maze
11. Visit a Community Garden
12. Visit a Petting Zoo
13. Go on a Scavenger Hunt
14. Play with Sidewalk Chalk
15. Go Ziplining
16. Visit a Nature Reserve
17. Go Horseback Riding
18. Go Bike Riding
19. Collect Pine Cones and Leaves for Fall Crafts
20. Play old school games like hide and seek
Most of these activities are hands on and a fun way to get moving as well as a way to be unplugged together as a family. With doing so many hands on activities, I always throw Wet Ones® in my bags. This past weekend when I packed our lunches for Sunday Fun Day, I made sure to have Wet Ones® available because I knew my kids would be doing lots of sensory activities.
Wherever you go, be it the playground or the zoo, lots of people will be touching the same things. Wet Ones® wipes kill 99.99% of germs on hands, especially when soap and water aren’t readily available. If we’re out at the park, there’s no easy way to run to the bathroom to wash our hands before we eat.
Wet Ones® wipes are hypoallergenic, have moisturizing aloe so they are gentle on your skin, and won’t dry your hands out the same way that hand sanitizer does. You can find Wet Ones® at your local Walgreens in three convenient sizes to fit your lifestyle: 40 count canisters, 20 count travel pack and 24 count individually wrapped singles. You can choose from the Wet Ones® Sensitive Skin Canister, Wet Ones® Antibacterial Canister, or the Wet Ones® Antibacterial Travel Pack. The Wet Ones® Sensitive Skin Canister is alcohol free and has an extra mild cleanser with soothing moisturizers that’s gentle on the skin.
Right now at Walgreens through September 30th you can take advantage of a $0.75 off Ibotta offer! Limited quantities are available and this excludes 20 count packages. Before you shop, be sure to check out Walgreens weekly promotions to make sure you don’t miss out on any other deals for your household needs so that you can save even more! Also join me on September 22nd, 2016 from 8pm-9pm ET for a fun #WishIHadAWetOnes #Contest Twitter Party for a chance to win fun prizes! Through September 30th there is a fun Wet Ones® digital contest as well, to find the “Messiest Kid in America!” with 1 grand prize winner winning $5,000 plus a year’s supply of Wet Ones® and 5 first prize winners each receiving $2,500.
