Tips for Choosing the Cutest Kids Fashion for Winter
Recently my children and I traveled from Atlanta to Chicago for the Thanksgiving Holiday. In Atlanta we’ve been enjoying some extremely mild days, even though we haven’t officially started winter yet. Our weather doesn’t exactly call for a big puffer jacket everyday. Of course Chicago weather is a different story! I was born and raised in Chicago so I know exactly how to dress for the weather. It requires several layered pieces to keep warm. Just in case you’re too warm, you can take a few of those layered pieces off. Before we headed off on our trip, we made a stop at our local OshKosh B’gosh. OshKosh is my favorite place to shop for kids fashion, especially during the winter months.
One of my favorite things about OshKosh B’Gosh is that they have age appropriate clothing for BabyCake. BabyCake is still only six years old, but very tall for her age. OshKosh offers the exact same styles for girls from Baby B’Gosh to OshKosh Kids. It’s great for coordinating outfits if you have multiple children and want to make their clothes match. My kids still love to match one another. Now they even offer sizes up to 14 so it’s completely a one stop shop for all of my children. My oldest son is 10 and wears a size 12, so it’s the perfect place.
After shopping for three children I definitely leave the store with a few tips! Here is how you can choose the cutest kid styles and winter fashions for your kids as well!
- Coordinating Styles – If you’re planning holiday or winter photos, OshKosh B’Gosh has coordinating styles for each of your kids. You can mix and match pieces in the B’Gosh Believe collection for the holidays, and your children will still look good together.
- Colors that resonate with your kids – Choose the colors of clothing that your children like. I normally grab pieces with yellow and orange for one of my sons, because he loves yellow and it actually looks really nice on him.
- Durable Pieces – OshKosh B’Gosh has durable children’s clothing at a great price so I know they are going to stand the test of time through play and wash. Choose quality clothing items that your kids will get a longer wear out of as the season progresses.
- Ask for your kids opinion – I take my children shopping with me when we head to OshKosh. They have all developed their own opinions and sense of style. As BabyCake gets older, she definitely has developed a preference for fur and sparkles to be present in one outfit.
Because I love OshKosh B’Gosh so much for my children, I have two great offers for my readers today! The first is an exclusive coupon for 25% off your purchase of $30 or more. December 19, 2016 at 2:52 pmI love what you said about asking for you children’s opinions on what kind of clothing they would like to wear. My sister is looking for some holiday outfits for her children, and wants to make sure her kids will love them. Perhaps the best way to know is to ask for their opinion on styles and colors. Thanks for the great tips.
