Time Management Tips for Moms + Fall Mornings
Fall has become my favorite season! I love Fall scenery, I get to pull out my boots & sweaters, and I love to have a cup of hot coffee on a crisp autumn morning. Since I homeschool, I try to wake up about an hour before the kids do. I take that time to plan and organize the day, plus enjoy my coffee in peace!
Starbucks Fall Blend
Starbucks Fall Blend is a medium roast coffee. I love it for getting the day started. It’s a blend of coffee beans from Kenya & Peru. The flavor is smooth and full bodied.
As busy moms, we all wish there were more hours in a day. It always seems like it’s just not enough time to get everything done in a timely fashion. Here are some tips on how I get more out of my day when I start my morning organized.
Time Management Tips for Moms
1. Write Lists – Physically being able to see what needs to be done can make you more efficient. Draw a line through tasks as you complete them. You’ll feel more accomplished when you look back on what you’ve done for the day.
2. Keep a Calendar – Being able to see whats happening when can help to make sure your family doesn’t miss anything important.
3. Limit social media time – Of course I’m talking to myself first! It’s so easy to fall into a social media black hole. Set limits on the amount of time you’re online to get more out of your day.
4. Prioritize – With your list, write down what needs to be done in order of importance. It will help you feel more organized.
Hopefully these tips will have you on your way to becoming more efficient! You can find Starbucks Fall Blend at your local grocery store.
How do you start your Fall mornings? Are you going to try Starbucks Fall Blend?

September 18, 2014 at 11:22 amPlanning is key. I must start my day that way. At the beginning of the week I ceate a long list of things that must be done that week. Daily I add things to my list based on level of importance. It has really worked out for me to keep track of everything.
I love my coffee in the mornings. Will have to give this flavor a try.

Thanks for providing some tips. Now it’s my turn to put them into practice. By the way, where’d you get the planner? It’s cute!

September 22, 2014 at 12:49 pmExcellent tips! I’m not a coffee girl, but I do love tea. I’ll need to remember between my busy schedule and running after my son, to stop and take some time out for a little tea time. 🙂

September 23, 2014 at 5:55 amI wake up around 5 a.m. every morning just to get a jump on the day before our son wakes up. Now that he’s in school until 2:30 p.m. he is sleeping a little bit later – except on weekends!
You’re right about lists.
I keep note pads at my desk, kitchen and on my night stand to be able to track my thoughts and tasks for the day.
