Tidewater Beach Resort
Last weekend in celebration of my birthday, my family headed to Panama City Beach, FL. Panama City Beach is about a five hour drive from Atlanta, or around 300 miles. My family stayed at the Tidewater Beach Resort, located right on the Gulf Shore. Tidewater Beach Resort is a 31 floor, ocean front high rise operated by Resort Quest, which is a division of Wyndham Vacation Rentals.
We stayed in a very warm and inviting two bedroom condo that looks directly out onto the ocean. Resort Quest condos are really a “home away from home.” Everything you need is right inside. Every condo is equipped with a full kitchen, complete with dish washer, and all of the appliances, dishes and utensils you will need for the duration of your stay. I also love that every condo is complete with a laundry room so that when you come back to your condo from the beach, you can promptly toss your clothes into the washer.
We ate the bulk of our meals right in our condo. There is a Winn-Dixie grocery store and CVS Pharmacy conveniently located across the street from the resort. It made it really easy to head to the store and back to our room for meals. Plus this charming dining room table made us feel right at home.
My family was always eager to head down to the ocean, but a few times the spring weather put a halt on our efforts. There was no worries because the resort has two arcades located on the ground floor.
As you can see, BabyCake was really excited about scoring against mommy in air hockey!
Once down on the beach, complimentary beach service is provided for all resort guests. It was nice to relax next to the ocean while the kids played.
I can stay on the beach for hours, but luckily there is fun right around there corner. Tidewater Beach Resort is located conveniently near the Pier Park Mall. Pier Park Mall is filled with shopping, restaurants, and family fun attractions.
After a day filled with fun, my boys were excited to come back and sleep in these cute bunk beds. Our two bedroom, three bath condo actually sleeps 6-8 people. These bunk beds were tucked away in the hall leading to the dining room and kitchen area.
Fully rested, these kiddos were ready for another day on the beach! But, we just loved hanging out on the patio and watching the waves wash up on the shore and looking out into the Gulf of Mexico.
Tidewater Beach Resort has one of the largest private beaches in the area, so you can rest assured that it is always family friendly. We simply enjoyed relaxing and walking along the shore. It was very peaceful.
It was definitely a pleasure for my family to stay at Tidewater Beach Resort! To learn more about Resort Quest or to plan your next North West Florida Vacation check out wyndhamvacationrentals.com or resortquestgulfcoast.com and find them socially on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram!
