The Great Georgia Airshow
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending The Great Georgia Airshow Media Day as a guest of Lexus. My fellow blogger boo Bernetta of Bernetta Style and I rode in the classy GX460 to the Atlanta Regional Airport in Peachtree City, GA.
Through my travel coverage here on the blog, I’m sure you all have seen how much my children love aviation, so I was really excited about this event. The absolute best part was watching the Navy’s Blue Angels land on the field. The Blue Angel’s are stationed in Pensacola for most of the year, but when we were there in August, we missed their flight practice. I made sure to get a good video for my boys to watch.
We had the opportunity to chat with and meet the Blue Angel’s first female pilot, Captain Katie Higgins.
Several other awesome pilots and their planes were in attendance. Sean Tucker with Team Oracle, Jack Links Screamin Sasquatch, and Mike Goulian Aerosports had their planes on display. Many more award winning pilots and teams will be on the runway and taking to the skies this weekend.
This weekend The Great Georgia Airshow will offer fun for the entire family. There will be a Kids Zone, Monster Truck Rides, Zipline, as well as Helicopter Rides. I was bummed it was too cloudy for us to go up on the helicopter, but this Monster Truck Ride was a blast.
I had a fun day with these ladies and I thank Lexus for inviting me out!
The Great Georgia Airshow is happening this weekend on October 31st and November 1st in Peachtree City, GA. For more info, tickets, times, and directions, visit TheGreatGeorgiaAirshow.com!
