The Crescent: Destin Florida Beach Vacation
Recently I celebrated my birthday in the most perfect of places! We packed up the car and took a road trip to Destin, FL! Destin is about 350 miles from Atlanta. All it takes is a few hours drive and you’ll be on the Gulf of Mexico. We stayed at The Crescent Condominiums located right on the ocean. One reason why I choose vacation rentals to stay at time and again during family getaways is because it definitely feels like home. They are so comfortable and have mostly all of the amenities and features you would expect from a hotel.
When my family stays at a vacation rental, we cook all of our meals inside and it helps our family of five save money. Luckily there is a grocery store and shopping center almost directly across the street from the condo. We were all able to sit down together for a family dinner and enjoy the breeze coming in from the ocean.
We enjoyed this comfortable living room area, and even watched a movie as a family after a long day at the beach. Each room has a flat screen TV for your enjoyment.
The specific condo we stayed in was a 2 bedroom/2 bath, and had enough room for 6 guests. Condos at The Crescent range in the number of rooms and some even have enough space for up to 10 guests. You can easily take a family vacation or one with friends and enjoy sharing the accommodations. The master bedroom had this amazing king size bed that was super comfortable.
The master bathroom had a double vanity, an amazing walk in shower, plus a jetted garden tub.
My kiddos shared this cute bedroom at the front of the condo. I loved the beautiful decor.
The Crescent has two outdoor pools and one hot tub. The weekend we were there, the temps were still on the cooler side so my family enjoyed this seasonally heated pool.
The Crescent is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and the beach is about 50ft from the condo. Beach service is available as well as bike rental if you want to take a ride along Scenic Hwy 98.
Destin has a lot of family friendly attractions, restaurants, and malls. Our condo was only a few stop lights from the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. We also enjoyed shopping at Destin Commons and visiting the Harbor Walk Village.
My family loves visiting the Emerald Coast. White sand beaches and sunset walks next to the ocean never get old!
I had one of the best birthday’s ever and look forward to my next beach getaway with Resort Quest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals at The Crescent in Destin, Florida!
