Summer Fun with Kia Sorento
Recently my family took this 2015 Kia Sorento for a spin all around the city of Atlanta for a week of Summer Fun! If you are following me on Twitter and Instagram, (@mommyweek) I shared pictures of our adventure with the hashtag #MWSummerFun. So after you read this post, head over and check out every place we explored in the city!
The 2015 Kia Sorento is versatile, crossover, sport utility vehicle. It’s perfect for families, and by far one of my favorite parts is the third row. Even though I only have three little ones, they loved having all of the extra space, and didn’t have to fight being cramped next to one another in the car. The 2015 Kia Sorento took us to some of our favorite stores, playgrounds, and attractions around Atlanta with room to spare.
So….. I was kind of obsessed with this 3rd row seating! The 3rd row can be completely tucked away for a full size, extra roomy trunk. One of the things I liked the most in the 2015 Sorento was the 50/50 split folding 3rd row seats. The 2nd row seats have some cool features as well. You can actually adjust them for a little more leg room, and recline to get comfortable. It really comes in handy for a long car ride or road trip.
The 2015 Kia Sorento is extra sleek. Here are some of the cool specs:
Steering Wheel Mounted Audio/Hands-Free Phone/Cruise Control
Bluetooth Wireless Technology
SIRIUSXM Satellite Radio
Infinity Surround Sound Audio
Push Button Start with Smart Key
Power Folding Outside Mirrors
Dual Front/Front Seat-Mounted Side/Side Curtain Airbags
Heated and Ventilated Front Seats
Blind Spot Detection
Power Liftgate
Rear Air Conditioning
Full Panoramic Sunroof with Power Sunshade
UVO eServices with Rear Camera Display
Extra Storage Space in trunk
Illuminated Door Handles and Interior
I really like using the push button start in conjunction with the Smart Key. You can keep the key in your pocket or purse, and when you’re in proximity of the car just open the doors and start. It’s great to have your hands free to carry things, or like me shuffle three kids in the car! There is a slight learning curve to the UVO eServices System. I had to familiarize myself with the buttons, and features. It took a couple of drives for me to figure out how to switch between the navigation, radio, and cellphone. The Rear Camera Display is great when backing out of spaces, and really useful for getting into tight parking spots. The Blind Spot Detection System was invaluable. It actually alerts you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. It can help prevent a lot of unnecessary fender benders. There is an abundant amount of space in the 2015 Kia Sorento, and several USB jacks for charging multiple mobile devices.
Overall my family loved our time testing out the 2015 Kia Sorento! Don’t forget to head over to Instagram & Twitter and search the hashtag #MWSummerFun to see all the fun places we visited. Stay tuned for our next adventure!
