COCO Activity Pages
Right before the Thanksgiving holiday my family was invited out to the all new Studio Movie Grill in Marietta to an early screening of Disney Pixar’s COCO. The Studio Movie Grill in Marietta is the 3rd metro Atlanta location to open that allows guests to enjoy a full service dine in experience while watching a feature film. There is also a front lounge, premium bar, and outdoor patio for guests to utilize before and after their movie. As a guest we enjoyed small plates of appetizers to get a feel of what Studio Movie Grill has to offer on their menu. I was actually surprised that all of the ingredients used were really fresh and the food was delicious. It was more like a gourmet dining experience and nothing like what you would expect “movie” food to be.
While watching COCO we were able to relax in plush reclining seats. The theater has custom-built Incora VIP leather recliners for full comfort & relaxation. There are built in tabletops for more than enough space for food & drinks, and there are call buttons for easy ordering from your seat. I really enjoyed the experience at the new Studio Movie Grill in Marietta!
Now lets get into COCO! I had seen previews of the movie, but I wasn’t prepared for how awesome it really was. I laughed and I cried. The colors and animation were perfect, and the story telling was authentic. It gave us a glimpse into Mexican culture and was a real example of the love of family.
Synopsis:
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
As promised, here are the COCO activity sheets for the kiddos! You can print them out and play!
If your family hasn’t seen COCO yet, I highly recommend seeing it! It’s one of the best children’s movies I’ve seen this year. You can visit the new Studio Movie Grill in Marietta located at 40 Powers Ferry Road. Tickets may be purchases online or at the theater.
