Stone Mountain Park Summer Fun
Earlier this month my family visited Stone Mountain Park for their Blogger Lasershow Party and to check out their updated Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision! This was a treat for my family because as long as we’ve been in Atlanta, we have never viewed the Lasershow at Stone Mountain Park.
It was a beautiful summer day, and when we arrived we were free to check out the park with some of our blogger friends before the party and show began. The kids all loved the guy who walks around the park blowing giant bubbles. Bubbles are always fun!
As we strolled around the park, we made a stop in the Stone Mountain Glass Shop. You can actually see beautiful hand blown glass sculptures being made.
My boys have always had a love for trains, so we took a ride on the Stone Mountain Park train to check out the Scenic Railroad.
Some of the other attractions at Stone Mountain Park include:
Summit Skyride
Geyser Tower
Sky Hike
The Great Barn
Camp Highland Outpost
We had a lot of fun before the Lasershow Spectacular was set to begin!
We were able to view The Lasershow Spectacular from the VIP Terrace Seating. The kids enjoyed lots of ice cream and snacks while waiting.
The Lasershow Spectacular was the highlight of our night at Stone Mountain Park! We thoroughly enjoyed it and the kids had so much fun. If you’re in Atlanta, or plan to visit soon I highly recommend it!
The Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision is free but parking at Stone Mountain Park is $10. It begins at night during the summer around 9:30pm, but I recommend arriving early to get a good spot on the lawn or RSVP for VIP terrace seating. The updated show includes a few fun new songs like “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, “Treasure” by Bruno Mars, “All of Me” by John Legend, and “Let It Go” by Idina Menzel. The show lasts 45 minutes and includes songs, laser lights, and a beautiful array of fireworks. It’s an Atlanta tradition your entire family can enjoy!
Has your family ever seen the Lasershow Spectacular at Stone Mountain Park? Are you excited about the updates?
