Spring Time Fun at The Atlanta Fair
Yesterday was BabyCake’s birthday! My princess turned 6 years old and I surprised her with a visit to the Atlanta Fair to celebrate. The weather was perfect for an evening of excitement.
The Atlanta Fair has been a source of spring time fun in the city for over 30 years. It’s located directly across the street from Turner Field, just a few minutes from downtown Atlanta. I only anticipated us staying for a few hours, but we didn’t leave until they shut down the rides. We had so much fun!
The fair offers rides and games for all ages. BabyCake is about 48 inches tall, so I had to accompany her on a lot of the faster rides. My children seem to be natural thrill seekers, so I went ahead and challenged myself to ride most of the attractions with them. I screamed my head off, probably louder than the children, but we all had a great night.
If you happen to get hungry between all of the entertainment, the Atlanta Fair offers all of the classic fair foods! Funnel cake, cotton candy, fries, hot dogs, snow cones and more.
