Rosetta Stone Kids Reading
I’ve homeschooled my kids all of their lives. We primarily unschool, and I build their curriculum surrounding their specific educational needs. I love supplementing with programs as needed to strengthen their basic skills in reading and math. I’ve learned over the years of teaching my children, that they are most receptive when learning is fun.
I was excited to utilize the Rosetta Stone new Kids Reading program to help BabyCake learn to read! She’s just getting into phonics and this program helps to strengthen her core literacy skills and reinforce what I teach her daily. Rosetta Stone joined literacy experts at Lexia Learning, who have helped over two million kids across America learn to read, create this amazing program that you can use in your home. Several times a week for the past month I’ve supervised BabyCake and helped her go through the lessons in the Rosetta Stone Kids Reading Program. Right away she was excited about the fun characters and she chose the one she liked the most…..Rosie!
The reading program is perfect for kids ages 3-7, and BabyCake is 4. The lessons are self paced, engaging, and fun. Since we’ve started, everyday she requests to do “reading” on the computer now. There is a parents corner that allows me to check her progress and see how much time she has spent on the various lessons. If you have multiple children you can create a separate profile for each of them and they can work at different levels. The lessons make learning fun and engaging so children think they are just playing a game.
Here is a closer look at Rosetta Stone Kids Reading!
Unfortunately more than 47% of kids in the US are reading below their grade level. Supplementing their education with Rosetta Stone Kids Reading can help give young children a jump start on their education. Your child can try out the lessons by downloading the first level of the program HERE.
BabyCake really enjoys Rosetta Stone Kids Reading! Do you use reading supplements for your children? Would you try Rosetta Stone Kids Reading?
