Morning Reflections with Starbucks
Did you know that I’m apart of an exclusive Starbucks Blogger Community? Several times this year I will be sharing great ways to enjoy Starbucks coffee in the comforts of your own home. I hope you enjoyed learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee at home! Today I’m reflecting on my family origins, and the special time I spend thinking in the morning when I have a delicious cup of coffee!
Every morning, I try to get up before my family so that I can enjoy my quiet “me time” with a nice cup of coffee. Last week I traveled to my hometown Chicago to visit my family and attend my mom’s college graduation. Going to my mom’s graduation was soooooo important to me! My mom is 60 years old, and her graduation symbolized that it’s never too late to accomplish your life goals. I cried tears of joy almost the entire commencement ceremony. It was a beautiful day!
Back home in Atlanta I’m enjoying three new Starbucks Single Origin coffees as I reflect on my own background and origin, and how amazing my mom is. Starbucks Single-Origin coffee comes from a single location and each has a distinct flavor from that specific region.
- Guatemala Laguna de Ayarza: From Santa Rosa, Guatemala. Rich and balanced with lively flavor notes.
- Rwanda Rift Valley: Medium bodied coffee from Africa with spicy dark chocolate notes and rich aromas.
- Timor Mount Ramelau: From the Asia Pacific with mild spice notes and a roasty sweet finish.
It’s been very difficult to choose my favorite between these three coffees. Each taste different and offer a unique flavor. I really enjoy each one. I make my perfect cup of coffee using my stainless steel Bonavita Tea Kettle and my Starbucks Classic Pour Over Brewer.
I get the best cup of coffee every time, and I can enjoy thinking about great memories like my mom’s graduation day.

Have you tried Starbucks new Single-Origin coffee? How do you spend your morning?
