Lexus ES 300h Review
Last weekend my family headed to Panama City Beach, FL to celebrate my birthday in the all new 2015 Lexus ES 300h. The Lexus ES is a five passenger hybrid luxury sedan. Daily we drive a midsize sedan, so it was no problem for my family to fit into the ES. It was actually very roomy and made for a comfortable ride 300 miles to Panama City Beach. One of my favorite features of the ES was the amazing gas mileage. The ES gets an impressive 40 miles per gallon. We drove from Atlanta to Panama City Beach and there was still almost 200 miles left to empty the tank. On the return trip home, we only needed to fill the tank with $20 and made it back to Atlanta with gas left over.
Since this ES is a hybrid, the engine barely makes any noise at all. It’s an extremely smooth ride and handles the road very well. This Lexus has all the bells and whistles plus top of the line quality that I have come to expect from the brand.
Some of the great features are:
Lexus Enform App Suite
Surround Sound Audio System
SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Hands Free Voice Command Technology
Blue Tooth Technology
Drive Mode Select allowing your vehicle to be more efficient
Remote Touch to move through Enform System Easily
Push Button Start
One Touch Trunk Open/Close
Back up Camera
Intuitive Parking Assist
Blind Spot Monitor
(Don’t mind the sand in the trunk….We went to the beach!)
If you’re concerned about safety, which I know most moms are, the ES comes equipped with an advanced airbag system. Front and rear seat mounted air bags, drivers and passengers knee airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags, as well as front passenger twin chamber airbags. Each seat in the back has Child Restraint Seat tether anchors so you can be sure that all car seats are properly installed.
The 2015 Lexus ES 300h was a lot of fun to drive and I can’t stress how much I appreciated the great gas mileage! To learn more about the ES 300h visit Lexus.com!
Have you ever driven a hybrid before?
