My husband and I received a complimentary stay at Leeward Key in South Walton, FL to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Leeward Key Review
A few weeks ago while vacationing in South Walton, we started out our stay at the beautiful Gulf Place Cabanas. Unfortunately our stay there was cut short due to a minor maintenance issue. The Gulf Place management and ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals quickly handled our problems in the most professional manner. My husband and I were promptly provided a stay at the Leeward Key Condominiums located in the Miramar Beach neighborhood of South Walton, Florida.
The Leeward Key condominiums quickly exceeded our expectations. We were located on the 11th floor and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The condos are located directly across the street from it’s own private beach and pool.
The condos at Leeward Key range from 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms. Our condo was a 2 bedroom 2 bath. It was a nice size and I loved the high ceilings. The living room area was really spacious and comfortable. Once I sat on the sofa….. I didn’t want to move!
The dining room area would have been great for eating in, but we were so busy this vacation we didn’t get a chance to use it much.
The only meal I was able to make in this cute kitchen was to warm my leftovers of the delicious dinner we had at Marlin Grill during our stay.
The guest bedroom was equipped with a flat screen tv, Queen size bed, walk in closet, and bathroom attached.
I loved the Master Suite! The bed was elevated, filled with lots of pillows just like I like. The view from the bedroom was amazing. There was also a flat screen tv, walk in closet, his & her sinks in the bathroom, plus a whirlpool tub. I really enjoyed my stay!
One of my favorite parts of this condo was the private balcony. It was nice to sit and listen to the sounds of the ocean and take in the sights.
To make our stay even easier, each condo comes with a washer and dryer. At the end of the day I was able to wash the salt water out of our beach gear, and have it dry and ready again for the next day of fun.
As if you couldn’t already tell, I really enjoyed my stay at Leeward Key and our entire experience in South Walton! I would have loved to stay a little longer. I can’t wait to plan our next visit and bring the kids down so they can enjoy some of the fun we had.
