Five Lessons Princess Cupcake Jones Taught My Daughter
Welcome to the world of Princess Cupcake Jones, where tutu’s and dressing up in mommy’s heels are everything! Princess Cupcake is the cutest character that comes to life in Princess Cupcake Jones books. Princess Cupcake loves make believe and learning through imagination and play. Each book teaches not only girls, but all children many lessons and skills like being responsible, working together, and determination.
BabyCake received three books from the author to take a look at, and I loved how each book taught my daughter some very important concepts.
The book are:
Princess Cupcake Jones and the Missing Tutu
Princess Cupcake Jones and the Queen’s Closet
Princess Cupcake Jones Won’t Go To School
BabyCake learned:
1. To Face Your Fears – In Princess Cupcake Jones Won’t Go To School, Princess Cupcake finds every excuse to get out of her first day of school. She’s afraid that she won’t like it, or that other children won’t like her. Her mom encouraged her to not allow fear to stop her from doing something new. Princess Cupcake went to school, and made new friends almost immediately. Princess Cupcake taught my daughter that facing fears wasn’t such a bad thing after all.
2. How To Tidy Up – BabyCake enjoys playing with toys, and then she leaves them behind to move on to doing another activity. In Princess Cupcake Jones and the Missing Tutu, Princess Cupcake realizes how hard it is to find something when everything is out of place. She loves her tutu and wears it almost everywhere she goes. She had to look all over to find it, but clean up in the process and put things where they belong. She eventually finds her tutu along with lots of items she thought were lost. Princess Cupcake taught my BabyCake that everything has a place.
3. That Your Parents Are Royalty – Princess Cupcake Jones thinks very highly of her parents. Her mother is the Queen and her father is King of their royal palace, which is also their home. She addresses them as such in each book. It taught my daughter to respect her parents and hold them in high regard.
4. That Exploration is Fun – In Princess Cupcake Jones and the Queen’s Closet, Princess Cupcake is interested in all of her mother’s shoes. She explores her mother’s closet and makes an adventure out of trying on each pair of her shoes. Every pair of her mom’s shoes tell a story, and have a special memory that goes along with them. Princess Cupcake taught my daughter that exploring, and creating memories & traditions are very important.
5. To Take Chances – Princess Cupcake Jones teaches all children to take chances and every book touches on being courageous in some way. Princess Cupcake’s examples in her books taught my daughter bravery and that it’s okay to try her hand at something new.
I really liked all of the messages in the Princess Cupcake Jones books. BabyCake loves each one, and wants to read them multiple times a day. To find Princess Cupcake Jones books for your very own princess, along with games & activities visit PrincessCupcakeJones.com!
