Finding Dory Review + Printable Activity Pages
Earlier this week my family was invited to a private screening of Finding Dory hosted by actress Keisha Knight Pulliam for members of her Kamp Kizzy Foundation. In attendance were several celebrities and influencers such as Sheryl Lee Ralph, Toya Wright, Monyetta Shaw, Dr. Heavenly Kimes and many others.
I remember watching Finding Nemo over a decade ago and pretty much knowing the movie word for word. My kids have seen it countless times and every time we head to the aquarium they see fish that look just like Nemo and Dory. Finding Nemo is definitely a well loved classic in my home and I expected no less from Finding Dory. Finding Dory picks up where Finding Nemo left off, except this time, Dory is the center of attention. Dory, played by Ellen DeGeneres, is a sweet fish that suffers from short term memory loss. She finally thinks back to her childhood and reminisces about her parents. The movie centers around Dory’s search for her parents and meeting friendly sea animals along the way like the sea lions, one of which is played by Idris Elba.
I don’t want to give too much of the movie away, but it’s great for the entire family. One thing I really liked was that there wasn’t any inappropriate comedy in the movie. This is truly a family film for all ages. Check out a clip of the movie below!
