My family was provided a complimentary stay at The Rock Ranch to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Farm Stays at The Rock Ranch
The Rock Ranch is one of our favorite places to visit in Georgia! It’s about 60 miles south of the center of Atlanta, so it makes for a perfect day trip. But it’s an even better experience when you stay overnight in one of their Farm Stay Houses! The Farm Stay Houses are perfect if you want to experience the outdoors with your family and even friends, but you want more bells and whistles than camping.
When my family arrived at The Rock Ranch, we enjoyed an afternoon of play. There is so much to do, and it’s really a lot of fun for all ages. We can’t wait to head back for their Fall Family Fun Days beginning September 26th.
The pedal carts are one of the boys favorite attraction. They love to zip around in a circle on the track.
We hopped on the locomotive and went for a scenic ride around the ranch.
BabyCake just loves Tiny Town! It’s the perfect size for her and I love that all of the houses are air conditioned. It’s also plenty of sitting space outside so that parents don’t have to climb into the tiny homes with their children.
Who can resist ponies?! The Rock Ranch is filled with cute farm animals.
Afterwards we headed to our Farm Stay House for the rest of the evening. The Rock Ranch has four Farm Stay Houses. Each one is unique and offers are relaxing retreat for families. We stayed in the Jackson Drive House. The Jackson Drive House is a little further removed from the ranch, but it’s beautiful and offers a serene atmosphere for complete relaxation.
The Jackson Drive House was beautiful! It has lots of southern charm mixed with a contemporary flair.
Of course I loved the kitchen! It’s fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils you need for a weekend away. All you have to do is bring your food.
The Jackson Drive House has more than enough space for a family visit or one with friends.
It was so nice to get a full nights sleep in this comfortable master bedroom.
My boys loved sleeping in this safari themed room.
BabyCake enjoyed being able to stretch out and have this beautiful room all to herself.
No Southern home is complete without a swing on the front porch!
My family really enjoyed the lake the most at the Jackson Drive House. It’s filled with fish, and there are fishing poles available for catch and release fishing. My oldest son caught his first fish and it was a really big one!
BabyCake didn’t catch any fish, but I think she has being a southern belle down to a T.
The next day I woke up to this beautiful view of the lake and it was so difficult to leave.
We always have a great time at The Rock Ranch, and this visit was no different. Staying at the Jackson Drive House was perfect because after a day at the ranch, we could relax instead of heading back to Atlanta exhausted. I really enjoyed the serene atmosphere and the house was beautiful.
