Family Luxury Defined: Lexus GX 460

Recently my family headed to Chattanooga for a quick weekend getaway in the ultra sleek 2015 Lexus GX 460. The GX 460 is by far one of the best family vehicles I have tested to date. It offers everything you need in a family vehicle in terms of safety, comfort, convenience and tons of space. 

This luxury sport utility vehicle seats 7 comfortably. The front seats are 10 way power adjustable to make every ride comfortable, and able to customize to each passengers needs. The second row reclines to aid in relaxation and slides for easy access to the third row.  

One of my favorite features is the power operated fold flat 50/50 split third row seats. See it in action below! 

 If you forgo using the third row you can utilize it as a traditional trunk space. We easily fit all of our luggage in the back with one of the seats raised.

When you’re driving with children in tow, safety is one of the highest concerns. The GX 460 has a 10 standard airbag system. The passenger seat detects whether it is occupied by an adult, child, or empty. In the event a child or an empty seat is detected, the system prevents the front, side and knee airbags from being deployed. The blind spot monitor detects and alerts you when a vehicle is approaching in the adjacent lanes. There is also a backup camera so you can see everything behind you when in reverse.
