Family Fun in the Subaru Legacy
This year has been off to a busy start for my family. We’ve already gone to tons of events since January and even took in a road trip recently. A few weeks ago I tested out the newest Subaru Legacy, and drove around the city of Atlanta with the kids in tow.
The Subaru Legacy is a very spacious midsize sedan. It seats five passengers comfortably, and has an impressive all leather interior. It gets great gas mileage, about 36 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg throughout the city. I didn’t have to fill up the tank at all during the entire week.
It has several features that really made my life more convenient while I drove it. The seats are heated in both the front and the back seats which made me and the children very comfortable during the chilly winter mornings. The rear vision camera is perfect for making sure your path is clear when backing out of a parking space. I don’t know what I would do without the blind spot detection monitor. It gives you a little alert when a car happens to be in your blind spot and you are trying to switch lanes. It helps to make your driving experience a little safer.
While testing out the car, the children and I stayed local and went to a few classes. Check out some of the fun we had below!
The Subaru Legacy was named as a 2016 Top Safety PICK+ by IIHS. It’s a great car for a small family.
