My family was invited out to The Rock Ranch for a complimentary visit to facilitate this post. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Fall Family Fun Days and More at The Rock Ranch
Visiting The Rock Ranch for Fall Family Fun Days has become an annual tradition for my family. We’ve done it every year since 2014 and plan to do it for many more years to come! The Rock Ranch has something for the entire family to enjoy. Depending on what part of the city you’re coming from, it’s a little over an hours drive from Atlanta. My family goes and we stay the entire day. Some people have asked me if it’s a pumpkin patch. The Rock Ranch has a pumpkin patch for the Fall, but it’s much much more than pumpkins! There is so much to see, do, and experience.
What is The Rock Ranch?
The Rock Ranch is a 1,500 acre working cattle ranch located in Upson County, Ga., an hour from Atlanta, Columbus, and Macon. It’s a place where families, school groups, groups, and businesses can come to enjoy “agritourism” for the day or overnight. The Rock Ranch was founded by the late S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A, and is dedicated to “Growing Healthy Families.”
The fun begins as soon as you arrive! Once you enter you take a tractor/hay ride to the main attractions on the Ranch. There is fun for every age group.

There are also Sunday Funday’s throughout the month of October:
Sunday Fun Days each Sunday in October – Enjoy all The Rock Ranch has to offer on a crisp Sunday afternoon from zip lining to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta “Encourage” Corn Maze. Bring a same-day church bulletin to receive a discount** on tickets!
The Rock Ranch is only open for fun on the weekends, so please don’t head out during the week. This goes without saying for most, but my homeschoolers are free during the week. If you’d like to set up a group field trip during the week, please contact them.

Also this Fall The Rock Ranch has formed a special partnership to recognize the fight against childhood cancer. The 2018 “Encourage” Corn Maze, in collaboration with Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Aflac Cancer Center), will celebrate heroic children and their families as well as their doctors and nurses that provide care. A percentage of admission to Fall Family Fun Days will be donated to the Aflac Cancer Center.
The fun doesn’t end on The Rock Ranch during the Fall! There are seasonal events year round! For more information visit The Rock Ranch online!!
