In this post I teach you how to make your own Sugar Scrub. Using a Sugar Scrub is a wonderful way to exfoliate the skin. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores. The results are smooth, soft and even, glowing skin. This Sugar Scrub is all natural, so it’s no undesired side effects you have to worry about unlike the ones that can be found in the cosmetics aisles. You can pretty much use any natural oil of choice in your scrub. For this one I chose olive oil. Olive oil is rich in vitamin E which improves skins elasticity and is known for its anti-aging properties. Follow your regular shower routine, then you apply the Sugar Scrub at the end rubbing it in a circular motion over your entire body. After you rinse your skin should feel rejuvenated and refreshed. You can use this Sugar Scrub weekly.
You need:
- 1 4oz jar/container
- 3oz of turbinado sugar
- 2oz of olive oil
Measure the sugar and add it to the container first then add the measured oil. Mix the two, adding more sugar in the end if needed to achieve desired consistency. Then use and enjoy your new soft skin!

January 19, 2014 at 8:56 pmI did a sugar scrub on my face using regular white sugar and evoo. My skin felt amazing!!! I’ve never heard of the sugar you used for this. Can it be found at any grocery store?
