In this post I teach you how to make your own deep conditioner at home. Weekly deep conditioning keeps hair healthy and strong, prevents breakage and repairs fragile strands. You can make this deep conditioner with items you probably already have in your kitchen.
You need:
- Olive oil
- Raw honey
- Greek yogurt
In a small bowl mix 1 cup of Greek yogurt with 5 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of raw honey. Apply the mixture to your hair liberally from root to tip. Place a plastic cap on your head and sit under a warm dryer for 15 minutes. No hooded dryer? No problem! Wear this mixture in your hair with a plastic cap for about an hour. Rinse the mixture and do a light shampoo and your regular conditioner afterwards. Your hair should feel soft, strong and shiny.
