I was provided the 2016 Lexus RC 350 to test out complimentary for a week. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Date Night in the 2016 Lexus RC 350
During the holiday hustle and bustle at the end of last month, my husband and I had a fun date night staycation locally in Sandy Springs. That weekend we drove the new 2016 Lexus RC 350. The RC 350 is a sports coupe thats fun, fast, and packs a lot of style. It actually seats 4, but there’s very little leg room in the back. The driver and passenger sides are very spacious and offer a lot of leg room, even for my husband who is 6’5″ and myself at 5’11”. We’re tall people!
The interior has smooth leather seating and makes you feel like you’re inside of a luxurious race car. The RC 350 has all of the features Lexus provides in it’s other models such as the Lexus Enform App Suite. The Enform App Suite allows you to pair your phone with the car easily, and you will find all of your favorite apps at the touch of a button to the right of the steering wheel. One of my favorite features of the Enform App is that you can download the app to your phone, then remotely start your vehicle, lock the doors, and even find your car in a parking lot. This really comes in handy after a trip to the mall on a busy weekend when you forget where you parked.
Inside the RC 350, you don’t have to waste any time inputting the address to your destination in the navigation system. You can simply speak your destination, and the navigation system will begin. I also like the simple remote touch pad that allows you to have an even more easy experience while in the car. You can go between touching the screen or using the touch pad for the radio, navigation, and Enform App. The Lexus RC 350 offers a few performance driving modes. Eco mode to preserve energy and gas, normal mode, and sport mode. I have to be really careful with putting the car in sport mode. The RC 350 handles the curves on the highway like a sports car and has an extremely quiet and smooth drive. You can easily go 80 mph and not even notice it. I stick to using eco or normal when I drive.
The 2016 Lexus RC 350 is a fun car to mostly drive without the kids, which was fine by me because I was able to steal away a few moments alone during our date night weekend.
