I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Just For Me. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Creating Fuss Free Hairstyles for your
Curly Girl
I love trying new twists and styles on BabyCakes’s hair. Her hair texture, is much like my own, which is 4C. It has a tendency to get dry if we don’t properly moisturize it, and we deal with a lot of shrinkage. With her latest twist out, I used a few new styling products in the Just for Me Hair Milk line. The Just for Me Hair Milk line is made with shea butter, soy milk, and honey. Each product is perfectly formulated for girls with naturally curly hair.
After washing and conditioning her hair, on damp hair I primarily used these three products to achieve this perfect twist out.
Curl Smoother – This product is key for locking in moisture and creating frizz free curls. It’s very light weight and smooths out the hair. The result is supple, shiny, and defined curls.
Curl Perfecter – With this product, a little goes a long way. You only need about a dime size amount for each section of hair. It actually helps with the shrinkage that BabyCake experiences. It stretches and elongates curls.
Smoothing Edge Creme – The smoothing gelee tames baby hairs and controls all of the edges. BabyCake loves it because it has silvery glitter throughout.
Also available in the line is the Smoothing Gel made with Keratin protein. We weren’t able to test that product out to create this style.
The Just for Me Hair Milk line has made BabyCake’s hair routine so much easier! We’ve taken the #5FingerChallenge and I have been able to run my fingers straight through her hair after using these products. They have definitely saved me time, and made her hair routine tear free. Try out the #5FingerChallenge with your daughter!
