In this post I give the recipe for my Creamy Crab & Shrimp Linguine.
Recipe as follows:
1lb shrimp de-veined and peeled
1 cup of crab meat
1 box of linguine
8oz of sliced mushrooms
Palmful of chopped parsley
1/2 of onion small diced
2 garlic cloves diced
1 package of cream cheese cut in cubes
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup of milk
Old Bay Seasoning
Salt & Pepper
Parmesan cheese for topping
Olive oil for sautéing
First cook linguine according to the box instructions. Next sauté onions, mushroom, and garlic in a little olive oil until soft and translucent. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan make the sauce. First melt the butter on a medium temperature so that it won’t burn. Next add the cubes of cream cheese until it begins to melt down. Add the milk to smooth out the cream cheese. Constantly stir the sauce. Be careful not to let it boil because it will bubble up and burn.
Last add the shrimp and crab meat to cook in the sauce until pink. Season with Old Bay, and salt & pepper to taste. Mix in parsley. Serve tossed over the linguine. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Enjoy!
