I was provided the all new 2016 Toyota Camry at no charge for one week to review while I was visiting Chicago. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Chicago Sightseeing in the 2016 Toyota Camry
Recently the kiddos and I took a trip to Chicago to visit my family during the Thanksgiving Holiday. I had the opportunity to zip around the city in the all new 2016 Toyota Camry!
The Toyota Camry is actually one of my favorite cars to drive. It handles the road amazingly, more like a sports car instead of a sedan. It seats five comfortably and the seats were created to provide more legroom for front and back passengers. The seats are crafted with ultra suede and leather to give it a fun sporty look. The power tilt moonroof is awesome for letting a little sun shine in, but the Chicago skies were not having it while I was visiting! We had mostly cloudy, rainy weather the entire week.
Toyota really shows up when it comes to tech features in each of their vehicles. The 2016 Camry is no exception. The Smart Key System with Push Button Start is a given. I love it that the car unlocks without me reaching for my keys. It makes life so simple with three children. The navigation system is similar to those in other vehicles, but what I really like about the Camry is that it’s system shows traffic and even offer alternative routes to get you to your destination faster. You can easily pair your phone to the vehicle with bluetooth technology, so you can make hands-free phone calls if necessary.
One of my favorite tech features is the wireless phone charging system. You simply place your phone on the non-slip surface, and press one button. Your compatible phone will start to charge immediately. That means no more cords! I used this feature every time I got inside of the car.
The 2016 Toyota Camry also has an extremely roomy trunk. We didn’t get to use it since we didn’t road trip to the city, but I did take a peek inside.
We got to check out some of our favorite places in the city inside the Camry. We visited The Museum of Science and Industry.
The historic Chicago Water Tower, which is the second oldest water tower in the US. It now houses an art gallery that’s free of charge.
Love chocolate like I do?! This was our first time visiting the Hershey store near the water tower. Every inch of the store smells like chocolate.
The 2016 Toyota Camry has a starting price of $23K and gets 25 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. If you’re in the market for a sedan this year, the Camry would be a great car to look at.

December 15, 2015 at 2:32 amThis car looks fun! I’ve never had a chance to drive a Toyota but I do know they are good cars (I’m a Lexus owner), I would love to give this a test drive to see how it handles because I know they are made well. Thanks for sharing your experience!
