I’m proud to be working with CVS Pharmacy to help spread the word about CVS Curbside Pickup. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers.
Busy Mom Lifesaver: CVS Curbside Pickup
Have you heard that when one person in a family gets sick, everyone gets sick? This happened to my family last week. Everyone had picked up a summer bug from somewhere. It started with the kids, and of course trickled down to my husband and I. When my family catches some sort of a virus, I still have to put on my super mom cape and take care of everyone. This time though, I was able to use the new CVS Curbside Pickup service to stock up on everything my family needed from tissues for runny noses to Ibuprofen for fevers without having to get out of my car.
I already have the CVS Pharmacy app on my phone and it’s made my life more convenient in the past years with prescription refills and keeping track of my Extra Care card savings. Inside the CVS Pharmacy app, there is a CVS Express tab for you to place order from you local CVS Pharmacy. You simply put in your zip code, and the app will show you a listing of the nearby CVS Pharmacy that has CVS Express Curbside Pickup available.
Inside the app you can place your order for everything that you need. It will be available for pickup within an hour. Once you place your order, a text message is sent to your phone confirming your purchase and to let you know it’s being prepared. Once it’s ready, you’ll get another text message as well as an e-mail letting you know your order is ready for pickup.
When you arrive at CVS you’ll see a sign for Curbside Pickup parking. As soon as I pulled into the space, a CVS associate was waiting with my purchase. I actually thought I would have to sit and wait, but she was right there already. I didn’t have to get out my car at all. I could quickly get back home to my family to nurse them back to health. I simply showed a pickup code on my phone, she scanned it, and I was good to go with my purchase.
The CVS Express Curbside Pickup was super simple and I see myself using this service often. My local CVS Pharmacy is just a few blocks from my house, but this saves me time when I’m busy and can’t run in to search the store for what I need, plus I don’t have to stand in any lines. If I’m out running errands or at a time when my family isn’t feeling well, I can easily place an order within the app, and pick up my purchase in an hour.
I want all of my readers to try out the new CVS Express Curbside Pickup as well! Today I’m sharing an exclusive code so that you can get $10 off your first CVS Curbside Pickup with no minimum purchase. Within the CVS Pharmacy app, place your Curbside order and apply the code 10CVSCURBSIDE at checkout. This offer expires on August 7, 2016. Once you’ve tried the service, head back to my blog and let me know in the comments what your experience was, and I will choose (3) three winners to receive a $50 CVS Pharmacy gift card!

June 29, 2016 at 4:41 pmI loved it! Also, it is safer way to shop. My mom was robbed coming out of a drug store with my dad’s cancer medicine. I like shopping this way, it is convenient and fast! I’m so excited CVS is doing this!

June 30, 2016 at 11:08 amOh how I love this idea!!! You know the Winters are BRUTAL here in Cleveland…I know they would probably get sick of me because I would utilize this service OFTEN!!! Even in the summer…sometimes I dont feel like messing with carseats and stuff so I either say forget it or wait until my husband gets home to run to the store. But there are times when I dont have that option…I would use this then!!

July 7, 2016 at 7:00 amI just tried curbside pickup the other day and I loved it! I didn’t have to haul the kids inside and I wasn’t tempted to buy items I saw in the aisles.
