Atlanta History Center Giveaway & Fall Fun
Recently we visited the Atlanta History Center for the Fall Folklife Festival. The Atlanta History Center is one of my families favorite places to visit in the city. The center is filled with exhibitions on Georgia history featuring artifacts and educational info. Outside the center you will find beautiful gardens and historic homes. The homes are open for tours daily. One of our favorite homes to visit is the Swan House. Did you know the Swan House was featured in the movie “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire?!”
The home is filled with lots of beautiful details. It gives you a glimpse of what a 1930’s mansion actually looked like inside.
Every month the center has special programming perfect for families, lectures, Magic Monday’s for kids, and even a monthly homeschool day.
For the full list of upcoming events click HERE!
We love when the petting zoo visits the festivals at AHC!
The gardens and Smith Family Farm are lovely, and will be even more so when the leaves change up this Fall.
I only give you a glimpse of what the Atlanta History Center has to offer. To learn more head over to their site AtlantaHistoryCenter.com.
Who wants to check out AHC for themselves?! I’m excited to giveaway to one of my readers a family pass to Atlanta History Center!
