BabyCake and I were hosted for a night at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta to experience their American Girl Package. All opinions expressed here are my own.
American Girl Experience at Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta
My home is one dominated by testosterone! BabyCake and I are out-numbered, so we usually do more activities that appeal to the boys interest. I decided BabyCake and I should do something fun together that would be special, and memorable. The best place to make that happen was at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta! The hotel is located just minutes away from the American Girl Atlanta store in North Point Mall, and they offer the American Girl Experience. The experience is specially catered to girls and their dolls for a weekend she will never forget.
Upon arrival and check in at the hotel, there is a separate check in just for girls and their dolls.
BabyCake was presented with Princess crowns for both she and her dolls, and her special V.I.G. Card. The Very Important Girl Card is redeemable for a snack in the Gift Shop.
We made our way up to our room, and BabyCake was not prepared for what was next! We experienced the American Girl Everything Pink Package. Our room was decorated in pink and complete with cookies and milk, a signature doll bed, robe and slippers that BabyCake could keep for her doll, and a pink robe for her to wear while we stayed in the hotel.
A sweet treat before bed is always a fun time!
BabyCake could not believe this was all for her!
The pink girls robe is super cute!
On Saturday night, the hotel also offers movie night at 8:00pm. All of the girls head down with their dolls in their PJ’s and watch a movie before bed. It’s the ultimate girls night! As you can imagine, it was very difficult for my daughter to get to sleep after all of this excitement. It didn’t bother me one bit because I enjoyed our time together and her happiness.
The next morning we headed down to the Vidalia’s Restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel for breakfast. Breakfast in the restaurant or room service is included in the American Girl Experience. BabyCake wanted to hurry and eat breakfast, because there was more fun ahead of us for the day. Of course Addy had to have something to eat as well.
Last Sunday was the American Girl of the Year – Grace Movie Premiere. It included a special pink carpet for girls, fun activities, giveaways and a viewing of Grace Stirs Up Success. There was so much excitement, and the cutest girls I have ever seen all over the hotel.
Each girl decorated her own picture frame after walking down the pink carpet and taking a professional photo.
All of the girls in attendance loved every moment of the afternoon.
We had such a wonderful weekend spent at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta. The American Girl Experience makes every girl feel like a real princess. I was able to make memories with my daughter that will last a lifetime. This getaway is perfect for birthday’s, girls sleepovers, or just a special “Mommy and Me” night like BabyCake and I experienced. Have you and your daughter ever experienced a girls only weekend?

October 21, 2015 at 8:52 amThanks for reading Lindsey! I was totally living vicariously through my daughter, lol. I say do it now just for the experience, and then you can do it again when she’s older. It’s great just for a night away.
