In this post I review the Kre-O Cityville Invasion Marina Madness building kit made by Hasbro and Zynga. My kids received this kit in the mail for free via BzzAgent.com. Prior to getting the set to play with, we downloaded the free Kre-O Cityville App . My kids had been playing it to get a feel for the characters and what the Kre-O Cityville Invasion sets would be all about. We received the Marina Madness set along with Dr. Mayhem kits and coupons to share with others all for free via BzzAgent.
The Kre-O Cityville Invasion Marina Madness kit is geared towards children ages 6-12. There were 206 pieces in the set, most very small. It took about an hour to build the entire set and a lot of focus and attention on my boys part, whom are ages 6 & 7. This particular set required three AA batteries to activate the Sonic Motion brick. The boys were eager to build the set just right and get to play using their imaginations. The boys loved constructing the kit and learning through play. They are excited about getting another Kre-O Cityville Invasion set to add to the one they already have. Since they played the Kre-O Cityville Invasion App before we received the set they were very familiar with all the characters. I recommend these kits to anyone who has children with a love of building and construction. They can really hone their engineering skills.
The Kre-O Cityville Invasion kits can be found at most major retailers such as Target, Toys R Us, and online at Amazon.com. They range in price from $2.49 to $39.99.
