Easy Guacamole Recipe
In this post I share my easy guacamole recipe. I love guacamole. It’s fresh and healthy. It goes great with Mexican food or to eat alone as a snack with chips.
Recipe as follows:
- 2 ripe avocados peeled, pitted and smashed
- 2 Roma tomatoes diced
- 1 small red onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves diced
- 1 palm-ful of fresh cilantro chopped
- Juice from 1 lime
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- 1 diced jalapeno (optional)
In a large bowl smash the avocados with a potato smasher. Next add the diced tomatoes, onions, and garlic. Squeeze in the lime juice and stir. Add the cilantro, sea salt and pepper, then stir. If you want your guacamole to have a spicy kick add the diced jalapenos and stir. Serve with a little additional cilantro on top to garnish.
