In this post I share my Sweet Potato Fries Recipe. My family loves sweet potatoes baked, in casserole, and pie, so I thought to switch it up for something new. This is a great recipe to accompany lunch or dinner. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source for vitamins A, C, and B6. Plus they are rich in iron and magnesium. Basically they are good for you and taste really good too! This recipe is super simple and really easy.
Here’s what you need:
6 medium sized sweet potatoes
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Granulated Garlic
Dill for garnish
Preheat the oven to 425F.
First you are going to wash, peel, and slice each sweet potato. Make sure to have a good, sharp knife because slicing sweet potatoes can be a trying task. Next arrange the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet or cookie sheet. Drizzle the sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and granulated garlic.
Bake on 425F for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are softened. Serve with dill sprinkled on top to garnish and enjoy!

December 30, 2013 at 11:59 pmI normally buy them all ready cut and in the bag from the store but in the new year I want to move toward making our food from scratch. Peeling sweet potatoes is not my favorite thing to do but I am definitely going to give these a try.

January 21, 2014 at 1:41 amHi Ashley! It’s Arsha from the SITs tribe. This is such a great recipe. I have tried several times to make crispy sweet potato fries and haven’t been impressed thus far. I will definitely have to give this recipe a shot.
