In this post I give instructions on how to make your very own DIY Simmering Potpourri. While out shopping yesterday I found cranberries and rosemary for both under $1. I knew the perfect thing to use them for, other than cooking and eating of course…… DIY Simmering Potpourri!
Here’s what you need:
1lb of fresh cranberries
2 oranges sliced
2 sprigs of rosemary
2 cinnamon sticks
6-8 cups of water
Place all items in a pot and bring to a boil on medium high heat. Once boiling reduce heat to simmer. Your home will be filled with a delicious aroma. When the water evaporates just add more and continue to simmer. It’s super simple and smells so good.
Enjoy!
