In this post I outline 5 Little Known Uses for Raw Honey. I always keep raw honey in my kitchen. I use it for a lot of things not food related.
Raw honey is honey that has not been heated, pasteurized or processed in any way. The differences between raw and pasteurized honey are substantial. Raw honey is an alkaline-forming food that contains natural vitamins, enzymes, powerful antioxidants and other important natural nutrients. These are the very nutrients that are destroyed during the heating and pasteurization process. In fact, pasteurized honey is equivalent to and just as unhealthy as eating refined sugar. – Naturalnews.com
1. Deep Conditioner: Raw honey is excellent in your hair. You can put it in your favorite conditioner or make your own like the one here DIY Deep Conditioner. It leaves your hair shiny and soft and helps protect against damage.
2. Treat Acne: You have annoying pimples? Want smooth skin? Try a raw honey facial like my DIY Face Mask. You can also dab raw honey over pimples with a q-tip a couple times a day. They should clear up in no time.
