2015 Toyota Camry Review
Guess what?! My family of five drives a midsize car everyday! Yes, three children can fit comfortably in the backseat of a midsize vehicle. The 2015 Toyota Camry is a great car for millennial parents like myself. I’m not ready to make that jump to being a minivan mom, and midsize cars are great on gas. The 2015 Camry gets 35 highway mpg and has a stylish bold exterior, and a sporty smooth interior to match.
One thing that really surprised me about the new Camry was the way it handles to road. The V6 engine packs 268 horsepower, so it really gives it a sports car feel. The ride is smooth, and it handles curves and turns amazingly at high speeds. Trust me…….I tested it out. Without the kids of course!
The 2015 Camry has a lot of great safety features and indicators that allow you to feel secure on the road. My favorites in Toyota’s across the board have always been the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Backup Camera. When you’re attempting to change lanes, if it isn’t clear of traffic, the BSM will illuminate and give a warning in the side view mirror. This comes in handy every time I’m driving.
This midsize car is filled with full size safety. The 2015 Toyota Camry comes equipped with 10 standard airbags. It was designed with the Star Safety System which is six advanced safety features to protect you as you drive. The Star Safety System includes Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, and Smart Stop Technology. All of those features would be instrumental in case of an accident, and for use in inclement weather. The front seats are also made in such a way to reduce the risk of neck injuries in the event of an accident.
The Camry also just makes your life more simple with the features loaded in the cockpit. It actually has a wireless phone charging system. No more fumbling while looking for a cord to plug in when your phone is about to die. I also connected my phone via bluetooth with the voice activated features. That way I was able to drive, use my phone hands free, as well as use the navigation system at the same time.
With the 2015 Toyota Camry’s speed, and sleek design, it was a car I really enjoyed driving! For more info on the 2015 Toyota Camry and to find a Toyota dealer near you, head to Toyota.com!
