2014 Toyota RAV4 Fall Fun #letsgoplaces
If you’ve been following my Mommy Week Fall Fun journey via Instagram or Twitter, you would know that my family has been very busy! Last week the 2014 Toyota RAV4 took my family on a Fall Fun adventure to several places across Georgia. We visited The Evergreen Marriott at Stone Mountain Park, The Rock Ranch, and Cirque du Soleil! The RAV4 gets amazing gas mileage. With 24 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined you can do a lot of traveling and not have to worry about filling the tank anytime soon. This crossover SUV has a very sleek and smooth look. It’s perfect for busy moms like me who aren’t ready for the minivan life.
The 2014 RAV4 was really spacious. The kids didn’t have to fight about being too close to one another. I was really surprised at the amount of trunk space available. We could actually sit in the trunk comfortably and have a small picnic. The trunk opens and closes with just the touch a of a button. It’s very convenient when you have your hands full with shopping bags.
One of my favorite features in the RAV4 was the high resolution touch screen display with the backup camera. The backup camera allows you to see everything behind you, and a good ways around the car when in reverse. The system can also connect to your cellphone allowing you hands free phone capability. You can switch between AM, FM, Sirius Satellite Radio and see your GPS simultaneously.
Another very helpful feature was the Blind Spot Monitor. Every time a car is in or near your blind spot, the sensor alerts you. This feature is invaluable, especially when you have children in the car and want to make sure they are safe at all times. The steering wheel had lots of cool controls to make things more convenient when driving. You can answer and hang up the phone plus adjust the radio. The 2014 Toyota RAV4 also has a push button start proximity key. The leather seating makes cleanup of little messes kids make in the backseat super easy. All of these features make your life as a mother uncomplicated!
